
Final evaluation of the business plans was held on the November 30th in front of the international evaluation committee. A team from FESB lead by Dragan Vujnović and Davorin Šego was awarded first place. Second place went to Borislav Dopuđa and Dubravka Novotni and the third place was shared by two teams from Faculty of natural sciences, mathematics and kinesiology; Nila Biskupović and Ivan Balić, and Marjan Krstić and Željan Kutleša. After detailed evaluation jury, comprised of Croatian experts in that area, decided on finalists for the Business plan competition. Finalists, who have successfully gone through the first phase of evaluation, are expected to present their business plans in front of the international evaluation committee on November 30th in Zagreb. On June 21st and 22nd first two-day training workshop will take place in Split on the subject of entrepreneurship. The workshop is intended for students and scientists, who are interested in starting their own companies (writing business plan, intellectual property protection, sources of financing, support on regional/national level, etc.
Technology transfer office was officially opened on May 08, 2007 at Second Congress of Croatian Scientist
from the homeland and Abroad. The office was opened by Saarland state secretary
dr. sc. Christian Ege.
On May 07-10, 2007 Second Congress of Croatian Scientist from the homeland and Abroad will be held in Split. Technology transfer office will be opened at the Congress and its activities will also be presented on the poster within the thematic unit: Collaboration with business sector and technology projects.
