
Technology transfer office systematically promotes entrepreneurship, promotes and supports transfer of knowledge and research results from University to the economy.Aim of the Technology transfer office is to become a meeting point between University and economy and to increase, with its activities, the commercialization of University’s intellectual property.
Office operates within The physics department of the Faculty of Natural sciences in Split, but offers its services to all components of Split University.
Technology transfer office has been established within TEMPUS program - “Stimulating Croatia's Entrepreneurial Activities and Technology Transfer in Education-CREATE”. The project is realized in cooperation with Universities in Zagreb and Rijeka, Croatian Employers’ Association and The National Foundation for Science, Higher Education and Technology. Partners from European Union are: Saarland University (Germany), European Research and Project Office GmbH – EURICE (Germany), Saarland Ministry of Economics and Labor and University of Alicante (Spain).
Aim of this project is to create an University support system to entrepreneurial activities and technology transfer, especially in the area of applied natural sciences.
